Southern California and Disneyland Trip

Earlier this month, we met some friends in Southern California for some much needed time off and fun! We have another group of friends who live down there that we took a trip to Las Vegas with back in August (I'll do a very late blog post recapping that trip later).

The main thing on our to do list was to go to Disneyland. Other items were seeing friends, food and the beach!

 We went with the 2-day park hopper for Disneyland and California Adventure. It was gorgeous both days and the lines were not too long.

Fall

I love this time of year! A couple years ago I posted my Fall decor around the old house. That house had more warm tones and was easier to decorate with Fall items. Our new home has more grays and whites so with this year's decor I used patterns and texture instead of warm colors to achieve the cozy Fall feel.

Added a few cozy patterns and textures to the family room.

I love baking, especially during the Fall! Baking warms our home and fills it with the best smelling fall scents.

These cookies are always a hit, but cuter with some chocolate chip spiders.

 Thanksgiving isn't complete without pumpkin pie! Loved the way this turned out this year.

Lastly, sweet potato pie! Love the taste of roasted marshmallows on top.
